About the Retreat
“Dar a luz” is literally translated as “to give light.” Our intention for this retreat is to bring light to the parts of us that we’ve hidden in the dark — our cycles, our wombs, our emotions, our intuitive magic.
The knowledge of the female body’s innate intelligence and intuitive healing is wisdom that was respected and passed down generationally by our ancestors — but as we modernized and industrialized “medicine” we lost the reverence and trust of Mother Nature; As we lost our connection to Earth, we lost our connection to the brilliant nature within.
Join facilitators Gabriela and Adriana Parada for a remembrance of the spiritual ecology within us all in an intimate circle of sisterhood. You’ll leave with a renewed sense of trust in your body, an embodiment of your intuition, and a reconnection to your feminine energy.

Quick Bio of the Instructors
Adriana Parada is a first-generation Salvadorian-American Holistic Birth Coach and Traditional Birth Keeper.
She teaches childbirth education and supports families who are seeking an alternative approach to the medicalized model of hospital birth. She’s passionate about working with women who are ready to take full ownership over their birth choices.
Adriana’s work is trauma-informed and guided by her education from Free Birth Society (Radical Birth Keeper School), Sacred Window Studies (Ayurvedic Postpartum Care), and her experiences supporting mothers throughout pregnancy and birth.
Gabriela Parada is a Salvadorian-American healing arts practitioner. Her work is rooted in Tibetan Buddhist mindfulness while blending sound healing, ancestral practices, and herbalism.
She began her spiritual offerings as a meditation teacher at MNDFL in New York City, and has since led workshops, guided healings, and held spiritual mentorship sessions in NYC, Portland and online.
She’s currently focused on shamanic medicine work: holding space for dreamwork, shamanic journeying, plant medicine, and “platicas.” While she’s teaching, she also continues her path as a student through the study of core shamanism and curanderismo — earth-based cosmologies that honor her indigenous and Mesoamerican roots.
